It all began in the Northern part of Denmark in the countryside not far from the sea where Klaus Helmersen, the founder of Carli Gry, inspired by the challenge of combining fashion and comfort for Scandinavian weather, created the first Cottonfield collection in 1986.

From the very beginning the purpose was to make honest value-for-money casual menswear with a Scandinavian look. And it still is today, 27 years later. Cottonfield is inspired by the passion and devotion to keep doing what you do until you succeed – because nothing else is a possibility.
