The winter campaign was shot in Kullen, Sweden by fashion photographer Franne Voigt who chose a perfect location to underscore the wild beauty of nature. 

Sean Penn’s film, Into the Wild, was a source of inspiration for the campaign universe. Nature, freedom and a hunger for life mesh perfectly with Cottonfield’s core values: casual, authentic, comfortable design with a vintage feeling.

The choice of materials for the collection supports the campaign theme with durable, rustic fabrics such as broken denim, lambswool and canvas. On the news front are the season’s cargo pants and signature Cottonfield chinos in a sharp-looking rough corduroy version. 

Cottonfield is the expert in detailed outerwear and this winter’s hardy hooded parka is perfect for the frosty weather. The collection also offers an authentic duffel coat that is updated with wood-and-leather buttoning features. 

The plaid shirt, Cottonfield’s absolute classic, is interpreted by fresh new colour combinations in flannel and various grades of twill. Legendary stripes make another appearance in an off-white & navy blue sailor shirt. 

The colour palette reflects clear references to a ‘70s look where subdued warm colours like moss-green, light blue, grey melange and shades of brown are set in contrast to bold red and white.

A fantastic selection of knits complements the vintage feel. Without a doubt, the premium-quality lambswool sweater with a bold Nordic print is absolutely a must-have. Classic knits with shawl collars and traditional wooden buttons, along with chunky cardigans and lightweight V-neck knits round off the collection.
